The Academy, as part of its secondary objective, provides students with clinical training in traditional Chinese medical skills in its teaching clinic.

The clinic exists for three purposes:

1. First, to provide the East Bay community with high quality, low-cost access to traditional Chinese medical care;
2. second, to train students of traditional Chinese medicine in the necessary skills to practice;
3. and third, to advance the field of traditional Chinese medicine in the United States through patient interaction.

Monday-Thursday 9:00am – 8:00pm.
Friday 9:00am-5pm.
Saturday 9:00am-1pm.

Clinic Fees:
Treatments by Student Interns (L.Ac. supervised) - $26
Treatment by Licensed Acupuncturist (with student observers) - $31

Discounted Treatment:
Medi-Cal card holders - $16
Seniors (65+w/ID) - $16
Students (from any school w/ID) – $16

Appointments for the Tuina Clinic cannot be made on the 3rd floor or in the ACCHS Community Clinic. Please call 510-763-7787 or make a Tuina Clinic appointment with the 1st floor receptionist.

If you are interested in making an appointment for the Academy TCM Clinic, please contact the clinic at (510) 763-1299. The Clinic Manager will check availability and schedule a convenient day and time for you to come in.
